Getting to Makrigialos
Road directions from Heraklion to Makrigialos
From the sea or airport…
- Follow the signs to Agios Nikolaos.
- At the first traffic lights at Agios Nikolaos turn right and follow the signs to Ierapetra.
- Just past the village of Pachia Ammos turn again right to Ierapetra. Do not go straight on to Sitia!
- On the first traffic lights in Ierapetra turn left following the sign to Sitia.
- 30km past Ierapetra you arrive at Makrigialos.
Airport transfers
We can, upon receipt of flight details, arrange transfers to and from Heraklion and Sitia airports.
We are 120 km from Heraklion/HER airport (approximately 2 hour drive) or 55 km from Sitia/JSH airport (approximately 45 minutes drive).
Passports
Please make sure that all members of your party have valid passports.
Important! All passports must still be valid 3 to 6 months after your return from Greece.
Car Hire
